Kyle has been leading a lifestyle of strength & conditioning since his early teens, enjoying hiking, camping and other physical activities. He certified as a Registered Personal Trainer in 2018 and has worked with clients with varying goals, wants and needs, including general strengthening, professional sports endeavours, injury rehab and more. Kyle was a high school athlete, playing AAA Football, as well as Curling— winning the Curling High School Championship in 2012/13 season. This lead him to study Kinesiology at the University of Winnipeg. With a brief detour to gain a Diploma as a Remedial Massage Therapist (ECMT in 2021), Kyle returned to the U of W to complete a 4-Year Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology (2024), while advancing his practice in Massage Therapy, Training and Health Coaching.

In his practice he has a focus on therapeutic massage, progressive injury management and rehabilitation, as well as guiding those experiencing chronic pain conditions. Sessions consist of thorough assessment, depending on the needs of the individual, followed by treatment planning which involves a combination of patient-centred therapies to create a treatment plan that works for their preferences, needs and goals.

Between hands-on massage therapy skills, fitness training and health coaching, Kyle has developed an integration of tools to help people resolve their injuries and pain as well as help them achieve their goals, whatever they are. Hands-on manual therapy techniques, instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization (IASTM), therapeutic cupping, compression flossing, as well as graded-exercise in a progressive return-to-work or -sport rehab program are just some of the methods utilized in sessions to help return people to full function.

Alongside this base of education and experience, Kyle has also completed several advanced training programs earning certification as a Movement & Mobility Specialist (TRS-S) and Functional Health Coach among others, which informs his holistic, self-empowered approach to practice. Kyle will continue to pursue education and certification through The Ready State, CHEK Institute, and Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP) among other institutions to progress his skills in using exercise as medicine, nutrition and lifestyle, breath-work, stress management as well as in further modalities, such as Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFR).

Whether your goals are to run around and play with your kids or grandkids, take part in your favourite activities, or pursue your elite or professional sports goals, and anything in between— he’s got your back!
